The Senior Portfolio Project
You are to do a senior portfolio project. This project will be a power point presentation. You will have to have a minimum of 12 slides, but you can have as many as you wish. You must have animation on the slides. You may add music if you wish. The power point presentation can be saved on a thumb drive or stored in the cloud.
Here is a brief overview. The project will be covered in greater detail in class.
Slides required:
Title page slide
Table of Contests slide
Personal Info slide--also known as a resume. (You do not have to reveal phone numbers/addresses/email if you do not want to do so).
Transcript slide
ACT results slide
TWO letters of recommendation slides (each litter on is own slide)
Future goals slide
High school activity slide
Example of your current critical essay (make sure that it is a corrected version). You can do this by taking a picture on your cell phone (not best quality), or by scanning the paper (best quality).
General activities slide (picture of you highlighting the activities you were in.
Scrap book slide(s). This is optional. This like a yearbook of your school years.
Grading:
Each slide is worth 200 points. You will be given TWO work grades a week each worth 50 points (this means that you will have to be working on your power point for at least 40 minutes). The final presentation of your power point will be worth 1000 points. The amount of time allotted for this project will depend on how fast everyone works. The final date to turn in the competed project will be determined by the teacher. You will be given at least TWO weeks notice of the due date. (Times are fluid).
